- It has a brushless motor which is powerful, efficient and maintenance-free; additionally, the tool is compact and lightweight which allows for comfortable use amongst tightly packed tree branches and other awkward workspaces.
- For user safety, there is a hand guard underneath the trigger switch as well as a chain guard with a hinge that allows it to move freely when cutting through material.
- The electric brake brings the chain to a rapid halt as soon as the trigger is released.
